"Sláinte" is a common "cheers" in Ireland. It is Gaelic for "to your health."

Bio: The members of Sláinte have been playing music their entire lives, but it wasn't until 2010 that these Ohio boys got together for the first time to play Irish music. It wasn't long after the first time jamming together with multiple instruments and empty Guiness everywhere that they were playing their first open mic. Even though it was technically a blues open mic night, they had made a name for themselves. Countless shows have been performed since then, including opening for national acts such as The Elders, and their musical library is continually growing with both covers and original music. Sláinte loves to perform their shows with excitement and passion for Irish music. Whether it be a sad, slow tune or a dancin' jig with the crowd on their feet, everyone is guaranteed a good time. It shouldn't be long before you are able to catch Sláinte at an Irish pub near you.
